We're excited to announce our partnership with the Hawai'i Job Corps Center to prepare young individuals for Hawai'i's workforce. Job Corps, administered by the U.S. Department of Labor, offers the nation's largest free residential, career training, and education program for low-income young adults ages 16 to 24.
In Hawai'i, they offer two campuses, one in Maui and the other on O'ahu, and both empower motivated individuals with the skills and knowledge they need to embark on successful careers, higher education, apprenticeships, or military service. Ellen May, Center Director, shared, "Our partnership with SMS Hawai'i is an opportunity that provides a bridge from our student's hard work on campus into a career they can thrive in. To unite with SMS on this unified mission is quintessentially what Job Corps is all about; careers begin here, and the future is now."
"We're very excited to work together to equip Job Corps' students with the right in-person training necessary to succeed and be workforce-ready." shares Tim Carson, CEO of SMS Hawai'i.
SMS Hawai'i, a leading market research firm established in 1960, specializes in shaping futures through strategic foresight. This partnership underscores our shared commitment to empower youth and strengthen Hawaii's workforce and talent pipeline. Together, we're fostering growth and impacting lives in Hawai'i and beyond.
