At SMS Hawai'i, we take pride in nurturing talent and providing opportunities for young professionals to flourish. Today, we're excited to introduce our newest addition to the SMS 'ohana, Marcus Mau, who joins us as a Fall intern.
This Fall, Marcus will work directly with our leadership team at SMS Research and SMS Consulting on real-life projects that will help him develop foundational skills for long-term success and make an impact on our local communities.
Marcus is a senior at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa, Shidler College of Business, pursuing a BBA with a multifaceted focus encompassing Finance, Management Information Systems, and International Business, and a minor in Economics. He was also named a Shidler Global Leader (formerly the Fish Scholars), Mānoa Merit Scholar, and a Johnson Scholar.
Before joining SMS, Marcus gained valuable experience through various internships at institutions such as American Savings Bank, Central Pacific Bank, Bank of Hawaii, First Insurance Company of Hawaii, and more, which have equipped him with practical knowledge and insights into the finance industry. We are excited to see how his past experiences will contribute to our team's success.
